Wow, this takes me back. I bought a lightly used Planar 3 with a Mayware Formula IV arm in 1979, and wished I'd been able to afford a Grace. So this is a Planar 2, but it sounds great. The arm is lovely, well made, with very tight bearings and tolerances and beautiful machining.


After a couple of 3 point suspended tables, the AR and the Thorens, this is a different animal, a minimalist, modernist design, and I like it too. Purple Rain just gave me shivers.
