I'm very happy with this amp, and finally got the time to clean and repaint it. Having it in pieces helped me appreciate the superb industrial design even more.

As you might imagine, I'm very excited to finally have a Mission amplifier in house, and will have more to say soon.

This is my current amp I run it with a pair of Mission 770's a really top sound!
I like that you're including this in your blog, but I think it might be an 80's design, rather like the Mission Argonauts elsewhere. Not a complaint or criticism, just and observation :-)
I still run mine (bought in the 80's) with a pair of B&W 220is - inputs are vinyl, NAD cassette tape, iPod, Sky Box and Apple iTV - they handle these various audio inputs really well and beyond music, provide nice atmosphere for movies and sport on the box.
Hello! What kind of paint did you use?
