It really does sound better.
i happened to get the identical deck, with the same cartridge a couple months ago. It sounds really nice; I totally love it! Mostly jazz and hiphop is played on it.Brad
This is an excellent turntable, and with the Ortofon OM30 cartridge it's been making beautiful music.
