Have owned a pair since 1977. Drove them with an old H-K dual powered receiver for years. The receiver finally crapped out and I added a Yam 727 and they absolutely came to life. Have since added a sub-woofer to cover the mild bass diffeciency and have sound equal to many much higher dollar systems

Brilliant, I would love to own a set of these Yamaha's. Do they sound similar to the JBL L100s ?
